Material 2.0040, also known as Cu-OF, CW008A or C10200, belongs to the group of high-purity oxygen-free copper materials. With a copper content of at least 99.95%, Cu-OF provides exceptional electrical and thermal conductivity as well as excellent forming and welding characteristics. It is widely used in electrical engineering, high-frequency technology, vacuum applications and equipment manufacturing where maximum conductivity and purity are required. Due to its oxygen-free composition, 2.0040 is also highly resistant to hydrogen embrittlement, making it ideal for critical vacuum and thermal applications.
