Material 2.0265, also known as CuZn30, CW505L or C26000, belongs to the group of copper-zinc alloys (brass) with medium zinc content. This alloy combines good strength, ductility and corrosion resistance with excellent cold formability. CuZn30 is widely used for cartridge cases, heat exchangers, radiator components, stamped parts, decorative items and electrical fittings. The alloy 2.0265 is easily soldered and welded, highly polishable and ideal for components requiring dimensional stability and high surface finish.
