Material 2.0842, also known as CuNi44 or standard 72150, belongs to the group of copper-nickel alloys with a high nickel content. Containing approximately 44% nickel, this alloy provides a high electrical resistivity, excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding thermal stability. CuNi44 is widely used in measurement and control systems, resistance wires, heating elements, thermocouples and precision resistors. The material 2.0842 features uniform thermal expansion, good formability and stable electrical performance across a wide temperature range.
