Material 2.4610, known as HASTELLOY® C-A or NiMo16Cr16Ti, is a corrosion-resistant nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with titanium stabilization. It provides outstanding resistance to both oxidising and reducing environments, including chlorides, acids, and seawater. 2.4610 is widely used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, flue gas cleaning systems, heat exchangers, and reactors. The combination of nickel, molybdenum, and chromium ensures excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, while titanium enhances stability against intergranular corrosion.
